Trellis

We are progressing slowly to finish the front porch. Mainly because what is left to do is painting and it never stops raining! But also because there is a lot of preparation to do, and that takes time. A lot of time. This weekend Pierre finished assembling the trellis panels and I started painting them. I almost finished but it started raining again so I still have one panel to go.

Lets just say that working with trellis is not very nice. It is rough, nothing really fits well and it takes forever to paint. I hope they last looooooooong!

Garden update – 16.06.13

I think it will never stop raining. We had a some sun yesterday, but not enough to finish the front porch, so things are going slower than I would like. At least the garden is full of flowers.

Garden update – 05.06.13

DSC00512

Even if it is a really cold and rainy spring, the plants are coming beautifully. Above is an Achillea, one of the plants that the municipality gave us back for destroying our garden two years ago. The irises are also coming strong.

The violas are getting their space.

And some others are also in full bloom.

And very soon, the peonies will be blooming too. 🙂

We have yet to finish the front porch but with 3 rainy weekends in a row it has been difficult. But at least the garden is coming together.
